History Continues to be Made in NYC
Congratulations to Extasy James for making history, as she opened the very first retail dispensary in Queens – Good Grades – and for being the first woman-owned retail dispensary that is financially supported by the social equity investment fund. Queens Borough President Donovan Richards was there and made the first purchase.

NYS OCM Updates
And on 4/20, the OCM opened up a Public Comment Period for Cannabis Research Regulations. There are 9 proposals set forth regarding Cannabis Research Regulations. Public comments must be submitted by 6/11/23.

NJ Adult-Use Poll
Check out this poll released on April 25th from Stockton University which highlights the responses of 660 New Jersey adult residents answering a variety of polling questions about dispensaries and consumption.
We look forward to welcoming Stockton University to the CWCBExpo this June – they will be exhibiting on the show floor in University Row, which is sponsored by Hudson County Community College (HCCC).

Delaware Becomes an Adult-Use State
Congratulations to Delaware which became the 22nd state to join the other Adult-Use states on April 21. Two Bills were passed. Though Governor Carney is not a supporter of marijuana legalization, he did not veto them this time around.
